This is the final opportunity to buy SHM before it gets listed on exchanges. Unlike private sale investors who have vesting periods, token sale participants will receive their tokens immediately at TGE (Token Generation Event).

Participants will fall into one of two purchase tiers — Early Contributors Tier & Public Tier — and each tier will have two options, Option 1: for general SHM purchase (referred to as ‘General SHM Purchase’); Option 2: for those planning to stake SHM and operate validator nodes (referred to as ‘Validator SHM Purchase’).

Since Shardeum’s staking requirement is 2400 SHM, Option 2 also gives participants the opportunity to become validators, help decentralize the network, and earn additional SHM through staking rewards in mainnet.
Now, let’s review the minimum and maximum purchase amounts, SHM pricing, eligibility, and token allocation available in our token sale for each tier. The table below will help you make an informed decision. All prices, except for SHM, are listed in USDC.
The Early Contributors Tier is exclusively for those who actively supported Shardeum during its Alphanet, Betanet, and Incentivized Testnet phases. As a thank you for their early contributions, those in this category have the opportunity to purchase SHM at tier-specific pricing.
Those eligible will be added to the ‘allowlist’ till March 27 for token sale participation, and they still must meet KYC requirements. The section after this will guide early contributors through the token purchase process.

The Shardeum token sale has no lock-ups, and all tokens will be distributed at TGE.
Shardeum has partnered with Tokensoft to ensure our token sale follows strict compliance standards, including KYC/AML verification. Regional Restrictions: Due to compliance regulations, the token sale is not available to participants from the U.S. and the EU, among others.

Notes for Early Contributors and Public Participants:
All eligible Shardeum Early Contributors — whether registered or eligible for the airdrop or not — will have the opportunity to purchase SHM at the lowest price as a token of our appreciation for their support, with priority given on a first-come, first-served basis.
This does not apply to public participants, who must select the Public Tier to participate. However, the Public Tier still offers a favorable SHM price compared to our private sale rounds.

Each SHM token is priced at $1.41. However, our token sale pricing structure allows participants to receive SHM at an effective price ranging from $0.66 to $0.90. Private sale pricing information is linked as a point of reference.
