OCC is the core principle of Shardeum. OCC is short for Open, Collaborative and Community-driven approach in the effort to install a truly decentralized network to empower the unserved, underserved and ordinary people across the world.
It’s no different from the early days of the internet – when only a forward-thinking community believed while the world dismissed it. And that community succeeded because the internet was open, permissionless, and built on open-source architecture.
