CEXs Announce Support for SHM Token Split, Mainnet Upgrade

Major exchanges confirm support for Shardeum (SHM) token split (1:240) and EVM mainnet upgrade. Learn what this means for community...

Shardeum’s upcoming redenomination and EVM mainnet upgrade will be fully supported by centralized exchanges (CEXs) trading SHM. As communicated previously, your balances will automatically update to reflect the 1:240 redenomination. Also, no action is needed if you hold SHM on supported exchanges.

Keynotes

  • Token Split/Redenomination: SHM will undergo a split at a ratio of 1 old SHM = 240 new SHM.
  • New Total Supply: The total supply will increase from ~249 million to ~60 billion SHM.
  • Value Adjustment: The price per SHM will adjust to 1/240 of its pre-split value, keeping the total value of your holdings unchanged, aside from natural market fluctuations.
  • Mainnet Upgrade: SHM will officially migrate to the new Shardeum EVM mainnet on October 30, 2025.

Exchange Announcements

The following exchanges have officially announced support for SHM redenomination and the EVM mainnet upgrade. Deposits, withdrawals, and trading will resume once each exchange finalizes the upgrade process.

We thank our community and exchange partners for their continued support as we move toward the Shardeum EVM mainnet launch. Stay tuned to Shardeum’s official channels, including Discord, for more updates.
