Shardeum Launches $350K Bug Bounty III on Immunefi

Building on the success of our previous two bug bounty programs, Shardeum is thrilled to announce the launch of third bug bounty competition in collaboration with Immunefi. This exciting opportunity, running from January 15th to February 12th, 2025, offers a total of $350,000 in rewards. Shardeum has been making significant strides toward mainnet launch, including appointing a new CTO, conducting incentivized testnets, and implementing a code freeze, all of which underscore our commitment to network integrity and innovation.

The initial two bug bounties were pivotal in helping our engineering team identify and rectify important vulnerabilities, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our participants who collectively earned $950,000 in rewards. We are immensely grateful for this robust community engagement. We now eagerly look forward to your continued enthusiasm and participation, helping to make this third installment another landmark achievement in our journey.

As we approach our mainnet launch, it’s crucial to fortify both Core (Web3) and Ancillary (Web2) systems of Shardeum network. This program continues our proactive approach to identify and address vulnerabilities, leveraging the crowd-sourced expertise and dedication typical of decentralized networks to bolster network resilience.

Similar to previous two bug bounties, this iteration features a comprehensive audit, divided in two concurrent audit competitions: Core III and Ancillaries III, each focusing on distinct components of the Shardeum ecosystem.

1. Core III Audit
