ToggleHere’s a recap of what we happened previous week at Shardeum:
Last week, we deployed Liberty 1.2 and updated the documentation. We also did some debugging to understand why some contract account storage data was going out of sync; the fix will be deployed in Liberty 1.3. We investigated and fixed the issue where SHM balance would get deducted in a failed transaction. We’re also working on lots of dev and local testing on fixes for Liberty 1.3 using new load test features developed last week. We also created a pull-from-aws tool to make it easy to pull EC2 instance info for all Shardeum networks, and tested out dev-containers on different platforms. We updated the load-testing tool to support simulation AMM transactions to imitate the real world scenario of single contract DDOS and reproduce OOS bugs, and tested dev networks to reproduce the bugs. We’re researching about Blockchain grant program. We are also in discussions with the University of Montreal’s Blockchain Lab about gossip-issues and probable fixes.
We’re in the process of setting up an Indian subsidiary of the Shardeum foundation. Meanwhile, we continue to onboard and engage with investors from the Shardeum seed round.
Last week, we conducted a Russian AMA in the Russian Telegram community; we saw a 50% spurt in new members as a result. We also conducted our first ever Discord onboarding call. We’re preparing the YouTube content calendar, and FAQs for the Super Shardeum Program. We’re also planning a Twitter space to showcase the journey of Shardeum contributors. We continue to evaluate vendors for the Education Program, hackathon and other events.
Let’s BUIDL together ????
